A large fir tree cut down that will be off to a mill to be processed into timber. The chainsaw shows the diameter of the trunk, and the image to the left shows its length, these trees were planted for timber production, and are in a mono culture environment, not the best planting for our native wildlife, so needs to be seen as timber farming such as a cereal field is, rather than wildlife habit, such as a flower meadow or mixed broadleaf woodland.
